Adman Maliawan

Adman graduated from University of Indonesia studying psychology and has been playing the bass since 1985. His presence in Kulkul brings modern ambiance to the band. The use of aggressive slap and fingering techniques, supported by his skills in sound engineering, have given Kulkul a more dynamic edge in performance.
He has found passion in developing young musicians. This fan of Rush, Level 42, and UZEB teaches how to beat a bass in Yamaha studios and Purwacaraka Music Studio in Jakarta. He is also a clinician of Yamaha’s bass and mixer products.
